Sting was so much better than this. He should have never had to drop the belt to a joke like Goldberg. Wrestling went to hell in the 90's. 1989 was the last great year, from there down hill.

He didn't drop the belt to Goldberg. It was a botch on WCW, no one knew what was going on.

Goldberg answers the challenge, and it was a non-title match. Sting loses, but it was a non-title match but they announce it that Goldberg won it anyway. They stripped him on Nitro the next night, but left the title vacant. This was around the time WCW was descending into a joke.
