I think it is great that this information is out there for the public to view. Many people may think that the world already knows this stuff or may say things like 'if you don't like it, don't buy the publications that display these altered images', and that is all well and good. It is great to see so many switched on people already - but if these videos can open the eyes and help alt least one person see what really goes on then I believe it is worth it. Keep up the good work Sarah! :)

if you dont like it dont buy the magazine that is full of crap anyway by buying these magazines you are paying the paparazzi that make celebrities lives miserable and paying photoshop companies so go get a cup of concrete and harden the f*ck up and dont look at the stupid things

1) Editing also applies to red eyes, removing zits, changing light. That will also apply. 2) The Its not trying to lower anyone's self esteem, just trying to make the picture more attractive. 3) If you want to point fingers, start at the BMI. A 5'6" 150lbs person is considered overweight. Imagine how that person feels when DOCTORS tell them that. "Doctor said I'm fat!" is the result. Thank you for trying to solve a growing problem, but blaming photoshop is not the answer.

well guess what! if you have low self asteem dont buy the dahm magazine! photoshopping images will never stop, nor are they going to put a box saying that the image has been re-touched..its just never going to happen, all i have to say is if you like the way YOU look who cares about how other people look..

I look at the video and say to what end. Disclaimer for makeup? maybe you should be required to wear a shirt that says I wear chicken fillets or extensions. Bull! Photoshop is a paid service.
motdigartz (Tuesday 7th of October 2008 12:46:53 AM)
why should they have to put a disclaimer on the photos? if you have self esteem issues that is your problem. if you have a problem with the way people are being portrayed in the magazine, DON'T LOOK AT IT! this was put together by a group of people with nothing better to do than cry about something. these people should have a disclaimer of their own "WARNING: DON'T LISTEN TO ME, I AM IGNORANT. I HAVE NOTHING BETTER TO DO THAN WASTE PEOPLES TIME WITH NONSENSE."
