Doula and midwife supported home waterbirth of our 3rd child. Our children witnessed the birth. Homebirth is safe! In the June 2005 BMJ (a medical journal)states that homebirths among low-risk women in the United States are associated with similar safety and less medical intervention as low risk hospital births.
