Why don't we do what Warren Buffet did, purchase preferred shares with 10% interest? That way the companies could get the cash they need and we would be safe. Buffet didn't want to mess around with the toxic assets, why should we want them in our back yard? Probably the politicians are wanting to selectively dish out the 700B for political favor.

Congress is fine with it because it's someone else's money. Whenever I go to a restaurant and someone else is paying (which is about 99% of the time), I always go for one of the cheapest thing on the menu. Maybe that's just me.

Vote for Obama and you will guarantee double taxes for the lowest tax bracket, and a socialistict health care system. Oh yeah basically any retirement plan will have a 40% tax upon withdrawl with obama "dividend tax", which will fund usless programs.
