I've been a correctional officer for 3 years, thats excessive, I work the lock down unit at our state prison and those tactics would NEVER be used!

I was a con in scotland at barlinee prison that sort of shit would cause a riot, we left the officers alone and they let us do our time, how is that gonna make some one a better person, so fuck a little bit of drugs or drink, its not a holiday camp but that is just fucked up i used to get on with a couple of officers, but in the uk rapi9sts and such are kept away from mainstream so there is less violence as those sex pest bastrds need put down peace

A few corrections to this story. I spent 10 years as a Federal Prison Chaplain and a few years in the state. I can tell you, that sergeant's attitude can get people killed. There was an excellent Captain at the prison who told me "the jail has to breath." If you "keep the pressure on" and disrespect and harass the inmates, the joint (prison) is gonna pop. There are alternatives to violence. Peace and All Good
