Boogie Nights: Drug Deal Gone Bad Scene
BackThe whole drug deal gone bad scene from the 1997 movie Boogie Nights. Scene Backdrop: At this point in the film, Dirk, Reed and Todd are total strung out coke addicts looking to get the next 'score'. Todd(Thomas Jane) devises a plan to trick a local drug lord(Alfred Molina) into buying bogus coke to get money they desperately need to feed their addiction. Dirk and Reed go along with the plan and what ensues is, in my opinion, one of the most well crafted scenes in movie history. *Since I keep getting comments on what the songs are in this scene, I'll just list them here: 1. Sister Christian - Night Ranger 2. Jesse's Girl - Rick Springfield 3. 99 Red Balloons(Luftballoons) - Nena

Oh no--not like you think. I do understand "artistic license" Not all films have to be 100% technically accurate in every single little detail. My opinion is that this scene from this film would be better served with total realism though.
