Greeneyes, there have been other black men vying for president of the US.Had it been a matter of color,wouldn't there have been a similar show of hands for them in the past?People are people; black or white;good and bad (color talks drive me nuts). I'm supporting Obama because in my view, pound for pound, he is most qualified (and he is qualified in every way) to lead the nation at this time.

Greens:I concur that it makes no sense importing substandard products from China. I also agree that more American jobs should be kept at home.I've just been trying to tell you that there are certain international standard trading principles which cannot be discarded on a whim and a fancy.If they continue to produce crappy goods there must be some form of dialogue before bringing down the big stick.China has to get with the programme re production of substandard goods and services.

Do you really think that importing poorly made goods from Chine helps this country in some way? It takes jobs from Americans that could make the same products here, of better quality. It makes people have to replace junk that is poorly made by people in horrible working conditions. Losing situation all around as it stands now. How many pets were poisoned by products from China? How many toy recalls because of lead in the paint, from China? Get the facts.
