About 2,000 ethnic Hmong from Laos have agreed to return to return home after a mass breakout from a Thai detention centre. They marched out of the camp trying to bring attention to their claims for asylum. Some say they were offered $500 per family from the Los government to return home. That's the equivalent of half a year's wage in the impoverished nation. But 3,000 Hmong refuse to go back and they are demanding urgent help from the United Nations' refugees agency, Al Jazeera's Hannah Belcher reports. centre. Hadromon, nobody put a gun on Hmong to choose to fight for or against anyone. Hmong leaders made that choice themselves. The result of the choice has been devastating. Hmong could have stayed on the sideline and watched the feuding factions slaughter each other, instead of volunteering to be slaughtered. By the way, there was no Viet Cong in Laos. Why would poverty or governance in Laos have anything to do with the issues you raised in your post above? God helps those who help themselves.

will not realy u know were not gettin killed from left to right u know. hmong r all over the world but originality comes from loas u dig. dats were our parents and gvp came from u dig. and dat is were genocide is hapnin. but i dont undastand y woudnt tha hmong come out of the jungles. and jus surrender and if they all got killed it'll make history and they'll die bravely. our story b told . but i think if the loas or viet communist wanted to flush all da hmong in laos it b done already.
