Windows 7 is being developed (to be release in late 2009, early 2010). It's based on Windows Vista. Dont expect to see a drop in the system requirements for Windows 7... but it is suppose to be a lite version of Vista.

I heard that Vista has been so bad in a number of different ways that Microsoft have decided to give up all hope and have started building a new operating system something like WINDOWS7? which will scrap VISTA once on the market, is there any truth in this? Is there any truth about this Windows7 and does runs like XP unlike the processor-ram-hungry vista?

256 mb???? wth dude. The version im using, 64bit ultimate, uses 1.7 bg ram xD. well not much of a deal cuz i bought 4x2 gb to overcome that problem and i must say it runs better than my XP machine :O. But indeed it kinda sucked at first when i had to look for all those drivers and shit :< Hope Windows Fiji (?) will be better.
