Not born a Jew but married a Jew and live a Jewish lifestyle I still keep a belief in 'Jesus' as the Jewish Messiah. I don't worship 'Jesus', I worship HaShem. Thought my son would be accepted as a Jew as he lives a very Jewish lifestyle but not so, he got kicked out of Hillel and Chabad when someone found out I was not jewish and he had similar beliefs as myself. Being Jewish should be a lifestyle.

As a product of an intermarried couple I have to agree with what the young NY woman said. I think it has made me a more open person. For me being Jewish is something that I would want to share with my spouse (if he was open to it which would have to be a criteria). I am proud to be a Jew and sharing my faith with someone is something that I look forward to.

In this video people talk about inter marriage, but what does that mean? What if someone converts to Judism in order to meet their spouses requirements? Is that the same?

A Jew is a Jew, converts are equal to born Jews.
I think this video really shows everything wrong with the young Liberal Jews who know nothing about Judaism and wouldnt know a Jewish idea if they tripped over it.

Why do you say that there is something "wrong" with young liberal Jews? How does that make them know nothing about Judaism?
Just because they aren't traditional doesn't mean they are wrong!?
kahaneloyalist (Saturday 8th of December 2007 11:26:51 AM)
yes it does mean they are wrong, what they are espousing has nothing to do with Judaism, a idea is not Jewish simply because a Jew said it, something is Jewish when its source is the Torah.
Young Liberal Jews arent following the Torah, that is something wrong, and not following the Torah doesnt mean someone is ignorant of Judaism, but generally they go hand in hand, and these Liberal Jews are attributing ideas to Judaism that are nothing but Western Goy ideas.
