I heard that at one of his concerts an audience member kept requesting "Cuts Like A Knife" & other Bryan Adams songs. Ryan was supposedly confused & said "why does this guy keep asking for tunes I've never heard of?"

No that's actually a longstanding joke that pisses Ryan off royally. If fans get the impression that he's mad at them or mailing it in because he's in a bad mood some of them will egg him on by requesting "Summer of '69," etc. He's widely known to not tolerate people yelling out requests very well anyway.
