Ohmygod! This film is addictive! Mickey Rourke looked so much better then... Wow his smile! He's gorgeousss! Kim Basinger was a sex symbol, i think she resembles Kate Moss abit. I really love the passion & sex in this film! What a crap ending tho! Would of been better ending if Mickey Rourke saw her talkin to her exhusband, then him going mad at her out of jealousy. That would of made more sense for her to leave him. Great film, rubbish ending, but love the hotness of everythin else! x

There couldn't be a better song for this part of the movie. Perfect. My favourite scene is when she's standing in the rain and he's the one who has the umbrella. What a look!!

The people out there that have been lucky to experience these feelings know that they burn so intensely that unfortunately they explode and 9/10 usually blow themselves out - but they don't - they just fade and simmer and sneak up on you and put a smile on your face- (eventually) when the pain has eased. MistyMoppens- sounds like you know a bit about this maybe?

The exquisite intensity can not last forever, and the need to feel it again never really goes.

That's true as far as the characters in this film go. They knew little more about each other than their first names. It was just chemistry. But true love still can - and should be - spontaneous, electric & playful just the same.
