Back



Hurricane Katrina brought disaster to the front rooms of the Western world. However, it was not the hurricane which caused the greatest human damage on America's Gulf coast, but the overwhelmed public services. The inability of the richest nation in the world to evacuate the poorest in the affected communities was highlighted to the world. What was also on display were the US's inequalities, racism and broken political system. Hosted by Avi Lewis, this week's Inside USA: New Orleans looks at how these issues are playing out in the swing state of Louisiana in the middle of a dramatic presidential campaign.

please they aint looking for work, if they were looking for work, what the fuck they are doing sitting in a couch they are crackers, they should apply anywhere, mcdonalds, burguer king etc, when a black applies and dont get hired they even sue, this people dont want a job,in my company we have to hire blacks even though they arenot qualified just because they sue, some are ok, but a lot are not qualified, they just got a degree with poor grades,they dont want a job,at least 70% of them dont

I am not being racist, there are decent blacks, but those who dont look to get ahead in life, steal , kill and look for scapegoats , in this case mexicans, at least those mexicans work, black people reputation as hard working pple is poor, some may wor but majority get the paycheck with the less effort, they move the slowest they can and bitch 4 anything, I own a company and regardless of race immigrants work harder than natives

agree,but there are some pple that commit no crime and came cause they r hungry,this is a country who was built by immigrants,the issue here is that they r not accepted for being hispanic,every1 else is welcomed, not even our language is allowed to be spoken,but we can hear russian,italian, chinese etc. criminlas yes,I agree,illegals who didnt commit any crime except working hard and being victims in the ghetto of lazy americans,no sorry,that is not humane,they r pple too and they deserve better
