Radar: World's Tallest Living Horse

Back



Radar is featured in the Guiness Book of World Records as the world's tallest living horse. He is a Belgian Draft Horse that stands 19 hands 3.5 inches (6'7.5" at the withers) and weighs over 2,400lbs. He is a gelding born in 1998 and eats 18lbs of grain, 40lbs of hay, and drinks 20 gallons of water each day. Video is a bit shaky because I had tried to steady the camera on the bars of the restraining fence, which people were leaning on. Bad idea. :P

you can still find taller horses.. it all depends on whether or not you apply for the record... they may quite a few horses out and i bet there is that are over 20hh +, but no one has applied for the world record. And i HAVE seen taller horses then this.
