palast revisited - insane architecture

This is a project we did on one of the most amazing buildings in Berlin, the former GDR's governmental "Palast der Republik". One is taken on a visit to the buildings past - present and finally - insane future. they are going to rebuild the Berliner Schloss, which was torn down by the DDR in the 70s, on that spot.

Instead of making of the Palast der Republik a museum , they took the decision to destroy it : Dumb Germans. They have no sense of historical stuff !

This place should have been preserved as a museum, being a museum itself. In the world's democratic countries people do not get asked what they want most of the time. The descision to demolish certainly came from above, influenced by America & Co.

Erich's Lampe Laden should have been preserved as a museum to the DDR Zeit.
