Yeah D&D is really anything around 160 to 170 bpm, with drums that break. So it can be very diverse. The sad thing is once 2step was discovered it all got stale and repetitive like you say.

this song is terrible, roni size could do a lot better. if this is dnb, then I don't know what I've been listening to all this time. "dj hype - don't be silly" is a lot better and actually dnb

Can you give me a list of criteria that makes a song 'dnb'? I like it when artists push the scene in different directions makes for intresting new music. I remember not to long ago the scene began to get stale and repetitive but i guess that was 'good dnb?'
