Maybe JOE LOUIS was old,but he had only two losses when he fought Rocky, and was on many kos victories!! Maybe MOORE was old too, but he was style this lithheavy terror and the champ before and after he fought Rocco! Walcott was still good and one of a underated fighter!! Same line for Charles who was more than a decent fighter!! Lastarza good too! Not big opponents like Formeman,Frazier or even Norton were, but small Rocco destroyed them all badly and easely(unlike Ali),GREAT TOO!

Yeah I can compare Lewis and Ali, Ali was faster, that's true cuz he was an actual cruiserweight!!! Lewis is a superheavyweight, slower than Ali,not a good footwork like Ali,but taller, longer, heavier, tougher, stronger with a better defense an some dangerous skills with he probably beat a prime Ali too! I'M REALISTIC! Anyway,Ali was a greater person with a damn charisma!

LOL!Cuz you think a prime Foreman,or a prime Frazier beat Tyson?? Hell no! Tyson kills Ali with a left hook,I'm sorry! Ali was open to the left hook! That's why Cooper and Frazier dropped him!! And you know what US friends, (but that's just my point of view),I totally dislike Klitschko but I think Wladimir(since he train with Steward) beat a prime Ali,that's OBVIOUS but people considerate Ali as a GOD so..... Klitschko is boring but too big too strong, too complete for 70s fightaz!!

even today, he has parkinsons and is obviously limited, but he's changed, he supports peace, and still travels to poor countries to donate charity and help homeless families, he goes to north korea, iraq, pakistan and all those others because he cares for the public and inspires them

but in terms of his time, ali had the greatest opponent quality then any other fighter, if u put louis or tyson or tunney in the 70's, they would still be great, but not as dominant as in their times, ali not only helped boxing, but america as a whole that they should stand up to what they believe in, stand up to the government and don't let them make u do things u disagree with, he represented the people, and that's y they followed him, he's not only a figure in boxing, but in life itself

ali is considered the greatest because he said he was and actually backed it up, he proved everyone wrong 3 times, only he had the confidence to win the title, in terms of skill maybe he wasn't the greatest, but he was unique, he knew the sweet science, and his great style could beat everyone else's, he lost to frazier because he was rusty, i'm sure if frazier had a 3 year layoff he wouldn't be as sharp either, all are greats, u can't compare them...
