The more I watch movies dealing with music the more I think that Cinema is a minor art. Besides, the fact to expose publicly the supposed life of someone without his/her permission is ethically highly questionable even if it's not for commercial purposes.

Just so you know, Deborah Curtis (Ian's widow) was highly involved in the project. =)And yes, cinema (good cinema, that is) is definitely art.

The fact to be her widow shouldn't make her the proprietary of his life... pictures are so superficial and biased compared to the complexity of a human being, cinema is definitively the most trivial, narcissistic and corrupted art...

it's she's lost control, performed by New Order i believe. they apparently did some work for the movie.

The first song is "She's Lost Control", but it's a different version, recorded in March 1980. The song beginning at 0:35 is "Love Will Tear Us Apart", and the last song is the brilliant "Atmosphere". Glad you all like it! Touching movie, isn't it?
