If you're going to mention how rap has turned to crap, then you shouldn't exclude every other genre because the music business as a whole today had turned into a gimmick! I'm young, and I'll be the first to tell you that music has turned to something of irrevalence without movement and no longer evokes emotion. If you want to listen to artists that remind you of back in the days where music had substance, you have to go underground or listen to the classics cause it sure aint in the mainstream!

I was brought up on rap! There's nothing wrong with that. But I do agree with you; music is in trouble. The crap they have out now is NOT rap...

I myself am also only young (16) and I was fortunate enough for my parents to bring me up listening to the classic rock. Though I still enjoy some music from this generation I would take Elton John or AC/DC anyday over any of this rap crap being brought out today.
