Propaganda Duel

Back

The video without the animated texts as it was released. I still think it's one of the best british new wave songs from the 80s. (The group is from Düsseldorf, Germany but recorded their songs in the Sarm-West studios in London, therefor the sound is considered as british) PM for requests for Propaganda

This song is so cool, reminds me of watching the lombard RAC rally report back in the day as it was the theme tune to the program. Good times.

C´mon... I just once again tried to be funny and failed it seems... What I meant of course: it is unnecessary to mention this was "success in the 80s" when the song is as 80s as 80s song could be. And, surprise surprise, made in the 80s. Sorry :)

Whatever happened to Propaganda? I loved that cold-hearted voice of Claudia Brücken.... A Secret Wish is one of the best records of the 80's. Thnx for posting this

Propaganda had reformed three times. First one with Betsi Miller as a leadvocalist. They had a bigger succes in South-America than in Europe. The group 'definately' splitted in 1992. Claudia the vocalist participated in 'Act' for a year, and made a short career as a solist. After that she formed a group 'One-Two' with OMD-member Paul Humphreys. The original members of the group produced 'Valley of the Machine Gods' in 2006 with the name Propaganda, and there also was a demo for a record in 2001.
