when bret was the champion the nitro ratings and the raw ratings were similar but then shawn became champion and the ratings improved for raw until july when the nWo came out that is how it was.

Bullshit. They went from being the best to nearly going out of business. HBK didn't carry shit. They were steadily declining. If Austin hadn't come along they would've been done.
