Transrapid Test Facility

TVE - The Transrapid Test Facility Emsland. This is the facility where the recent accident took place on the 22nd of September 2006. The accident occurred due to a maintenance vehicle being on the track at the same time as the train in what can only be described as a simple communications breakdown. The vehicles collided at roughly 200kph. Sadly 23 people lost their lives in this tragedy. yea i know this we were on holiday in the emsland area and we entered this train to when we where in he go's 413 km/h i know he can go faste i think they didnt give it full power btw we did go in this train before the accident and not after the crash and i say 1 thing about this ride,,,it was super cool;)

actually, this IS being considered in switzerland. it's called swissmetro. but at the moment it seems like it's going to be too expensive.

Munich need immediately this fast way to the airport! The old S-Bahn takes one hour. The Express-S-Bahn costs the same price and takes more then twice of the time.

It requires more energy underground. And more space for escaping air. But its possible.
