Bin Laden driver on trial at Guantanamo

The first war crimes trial at Guantanamo Bay has started. Salim Hamdan - who was Osama bin Laden's driver - has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy and supporting terrorism. The judge has barred some of the evidence, as it was gained during interrogation of the defendant when he was held at U.S. bases in Afghanistan.

That's ridiculous! He wasn't a taxi driver for God's sake!!! He was a driver hired specifically to drive Bin Laden around! What is it with you and the taxi driver thing? It's not the same thing! And besides, you should be happy. An aid to the most wanted man in the world is only serving 5 1/2 months in prison for taking him to his destination so that he could plan attacks. You should be in the streets shouting "praise allah"!

And what I'm saying is that he is small fry. With all the time and money the US government spent in Iraq and Afghanistan they should have already captured Bin Laden. But of course they haven't so they try to keep us happy with "Oh, look, we got his driver." BTW, have you been to Afghanistan? I bet there are more cars with missiles over there than those with spare tires. It's a guerrilla war zone for God's sake.
