i think its the only CBI film 2 hv 3 sequels...Jagrudha,Sethurama Iyer CBI n Nerariyan CBI....the last part was a hit only coz of Mamooty's superb performance as Sethuraman Iyer n the suspense....otherwise the last part was let down by poor cinematography...in all 4 movies they hv maintained the suspense till the end...its alwayz the least suspected person...even if u suspect most....ull neva suspect the killer

As ur right..first movie was excellent cos of story,suspense,direction and mamooty's acting..so k Madhu has to do something special as he did in cbi dirykurupp...take a good story with suspense(preferably village story) defenitely mammooka will deliver his best as usual

Actually, mamootty has acted brilliantly; he has infact consciously avoided overacting especially in his first CBI sequels; tying his hand in the back is the best 'unique' mannerism - I just love it.

I agree with you, the first movie was excellent, i liked every thing about it, everthing was well balance and limited, but the part 2 and the later movies were exagerated and overdone, atleast that is my personal opinion.

yes, especially the third and the fourth movies were trying to gimmic the first part, ella scenilum kaiyum ketti varunnathu bore aayi poi..........I loved the 1st and 2nd parts, 3rd was ok, fourth was horrible
