This was the opening number played by Sparky and Rhonda Rucker at Skip and Judy's home on March 3, 2007. It is a traditional Appalachian folk song. Skip and Rhonda and Sparky are three of the people that originally started the house concert tradition. It's a way for traveling folk singers to have a place to stay while touring. I knew Sparky in Knoxville in the '60s. It's wonderful to know he's still around, still smiling, still sharing his music. You look very happy, Sparky, and you and Rhonda make a lovely couple. Long may you sing, brother!
