It's called "making a bare stage into a set on a VERY low budget".

Dionne Warwick, you have a sweet sound. Whitney could learn something from this lady. WH= too loud, hangs too long on a high note... could be oh so much better.
Man DO I MISS JOHNNY CARSON!!!!!!!!

Dionne Warwick is Whitney Houston's first-cousin...

How many possible great African American singers have been lost to the garbadge of hip hop??? How I wish African American singers would rediscover this music and all the history of Motown!

fool please. Hip Hop is what makes me even pay attention to this type of music. Slick Rick used this chorus towards of "Mona Lisa", and any one who's a REAL fan of hip hop loves this type of classic music. Hip Hop is a homage to older black music, in case you didn't realize. I'm the type of brotha to blast a Sam Cooke or Marvin Gaye track and then switch into Tribe Called Quest or Mobb Deep or Nas. Good music is good music. Once you realize this, you'll be happier.

how does hip hop get attributed with the indifference toward classic soul singers?....if anything, the sampling that hip hop uses makes us all remember how great this music was and still is....many producers grew up listening to soul and that's how they know who to sample from....if it wasn't for hip hop, i probably would never have discovered artists like the Stylistics, Enchantment and Syl Johnson....hip hop is what keeps these singers relevant....mainstream rap on the other hand...
