soo soo true...they just get all the wrong ideas when they plan rips to kauai...maybe there is a couple of nice haoles, but most of them are all asses and have no respect for the hawaiians and the 'aina so why should they be able to live here???

Don't blame da pit bulls... I was told that if da luau leaf is itchy is not the luau leafs fault, jus steam um little bit more and its all gud... As in dis case it's not the pit bulls fault either... Pit bulls is one of the most loyalest dogs I have ever owned... I was brough up wit hunting dogs so I've had my share of dogs... All they trying to do is be loyal to their masters... If they master had turn them dat way den put da owner down... But if they protecting their owner what can you say?

You must be 1 of the haoles that thinks the world revolves around you...Hawaiian is just another word the haoles created...so u can look it up in encyclopedia all u want because that is not what we are called...WE ARE KANAKA MAOLI...

Stop being elitists. America is a mixing bowl and Hawaii is no exception. By 2050 the most spoken language in the USA will become Spanish. If you don't like the changes you see, then care enough to be a part of the solution (...writing here; not a solution). Eventually, I will move to Hawaii. If you love the land enough and don't want to contribute to overpopulation, then when i get there you can leave.

How do the council members that approve all this overdevelopment keep getting re-elected decade after decade? If you want haole's to quit moving in, quit building new developments and quit re-electing the same council members that sell out to developers and business interests. Also, impeach Lingle!

It's really too bad that there are really aren't that many true hawaiins left on Kauai. Most of the folks on the island are mixed breeds, so really they are the haoles also....jerks...all of them...

Eh no b jealous cuz u not one KANAKA MAOLI! Da only reason why we not pure breed is cuz haoles couldn't keep it in their pants. So get over it! N 4 ur info haole mean foreigner. If you get the koko you not foriegn to this aina, cuz blood runs deep. So in turn we not really haole cuz we get the koko dat ran through our ancestors veins. But wat would you know about dat? Cuz they no write dat in da textbooks.
