I am constantly embarrassed by many of my fellow Americans for being so bloody small minded. I will bet you that 97% of the people who believe this network is nothing but propaganda has NEVER even tuned in for one moment. It has a name that is Middle Eastern that's all. Yet I bet these same people view Fox News and cant see the propaganda being thrown at them 24/7 on that network. We're a rich country and powerful but most people are not all that bright to be honest.

As an Emerate-based channel, why are virtually all your anchorers and presenters in the Arabic channel overwhelmingly Syrian, or not Emeratee? That just seems strange - don't you have indiginous presenters in your native population, or is it a shallow way to make your channel look more 'European'?

Yes, and the truth is you're quite good at making dumb generalizations. First about Jews universally treating Africans better than Arabs and the former only wanting to go to Israel, as if you never heard of Libya. And standard of living has no connection whatsoever to how "good" or "bad" a country is. But the appallingly ignorant claim was that the Arab world has "no freedom or rights for any of its citizens" -- one couldn't make a credible claim that sweeping for Burma! So please.

Aside from anything else, it's really funny that in the United States any criticism of Israel is passionately attacked and immediately and effectively suppressed from anything but the marginalized "radical" fringes of discussion, but in Israel it is just an accepted part of ordinary life. Not only would they never ban Al Jazeera in Israel, but if it weren't available the public would demand it! The paranoid extremism about the slightest criticism of Israel in the US is an amazing phenomenon.

These uneducated idiots probably watch Fox for all their news. Most people in this country make me sick.

it is not an issue about antisemetism, aniamericanism or else, it is simply an issue of mindcontrol. mindcontrol of the american public.

Freedom of speech should work both ways otherwise your undercutting your basic argument. If I like Al Jazeera English and someone likes FOX News I should not be allowed to ban it because it's not my preference I merely switch the channel.

I agree with that point, i should have said "what if".
